Our extra special girl Wilmer is approximately four years old and almost certainly a mini pinscher or thereabouts. Wilmer weighs just seven kilos and measures nine inches from shoulder to paw.
She has been in our Cyprus shelter for several months having been found abandoned on the streets where sadly she was attacked by a larger dog.
Wilmer’s wounds were not serious and were treated at the shelter clinic where she was taken by some tourists to whom we are grateful. Having suffered some hair loss, it is now almost totally grown over and continues to improve.
This dear heroic little dog is exceptional in every respect. Our shelter manager describes Wilmer as the most loving and sweet dog. She so enjoys socialising with her fan club and her tail never seems to stop wagging.
Her rich tan coat is gorgeous along with her puppy dog eyes. Her favourite pastime is sitting on a lap, and she thoroughly enjoys her treats. There never was a more deserving adoption candidate with star quality.
Wilmer walks nicely on her lead. She mixes well with other dogs, cats and children.
