Rescue Story
Tito was adopted through Paws Help in 2021. At around 1.5 years old, he brought a lovely mix of loyalty and intelligence to his new home. He settled beautifully, but his owner has since faced serious mental health struggles and a loss of stability.
Wanting the best for Tito, they’ve made the heartfelt decision to let him go to a home better suited to his needs.
Personality & Behaviour
Tito is clever, affectionate, and full of potential. He’s house-trained, non-destructive, quiet when left for short periods, and responsive to commands like “sit”, “paw”, and “lie down”. He loves his food, thrives on enrichment games, and will do just about anything for a treat.
He does, however, need a home that can provide routine, structure, and consistent support. He’s reactive to scooters, motorbikes, and people in hoods when on lead, but does well in quiet, familiar environments.
Tito attends doggy daycare once a week where he gets along with other dogs in neutral territory, but at home, he prefers to be the only dog.
Tito enjoys a calm lifestyle and isn’t comfortable in chaotic environments. He tends to retreat when visitors arrive, preferring peace and predictability.
Ideal Home
Tito needs an experienced and understanding owner who can offer him structure and calm. A semi-rural or rural home with access to quiet walks and a secure garden would be ideal.
He would do best as the only pet in the home and would prefer a life without small children. Dog-savvy teens (14+) who respect boundaries may be suitable.
He’s not the right match for a busy household or urban environment, but for someone willing to give him the consistency he needs, Tito will offer deep loyalty and companionship.
Health Information
Tito is fully healthy. Neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped.
RBU, post-adoption support, and 4 weeks free PetPlan insurance provided upon adoption.
