Snowy is a stunning 7-month-old Akita x Bull Terrier girl, lower-medium in size (15.2 kg), and full of potential. Raised with love but sadly surrendered due to her owner’s health, she now needs a new family who can give her the time, guidance, and cuddles she adores.
Snowy is currently with a foster family, but due to the presence of cats, a small dog, and young children, she’s not the best match for that household.

“Snowy is so loving and affectionate. She loves kisses and cuddles. Although she is only 7 months old, she is incredibly clever. She knows all the basic commands. On a walk, she is amazing. No pulling—she sits and waits to cross roads. She would be so well suited to an active family.”

Rescue Story
Snowy was surrendered through no fault of her own. Her previous owner, struggling with serious mental health challenges, made the difficult and selfless decision to let her go so she could continue to thrive. Snowy was originally bought through a pet site and raised with love. She’s been adored—and she deserves for that love to continue.
Personality & Behaviour
Snowy is a bright, affectionate girl with a playful and trusting spirit. She has lived in a flat with a garden and was used to sleeping beside her human on a cosy dog bed. Confident with strangers and gentle with children, she has also enjoyed many friendly dog encounters and long riverside walks.
Her Akita side brings loyalty and intelligence; her terrier mix gives her playful charm and energy. She only barks to alert when someone passes the window—nothing excessive.
“Snowy is very loving and friendly, sociable with other dogs and children. She’s highly intelligent and learns quickly. She loves belly rubs, cuddles, and meeting people on walks—everyone stops to admire her. She behaves well, and I’ve left her alone for short periods with no issues. We’ve walked many miles together and she’s been a wonderful companion.”
Ideal Home
Snowy would thrive in an active household with someone around most of the day. She’d love a garden for playtime and another dog for company, but she could also be a wonderful solo pet if she gets plenty of interaction and affection.
She will suit a family with children aged 10+ or an individual/couple with time and energy for ongoing training and bonding.
Snowy is a loyal, loving young dog who’s ready to build a lifelong bond with someone new. Please don’t let this sweetheart wait too long.

Snowy is healthy, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Not yet spayed (has not had first season).
