Detailed Information
RUDY now lives in foster care, surrounded by other dogs, and she thrives in their company. She is very sociable and gets along beautifully with every dog she meets. She hasn’t been tested with cats.

She’s incredibly human-oriented – from the moment she meets you, she asks for cuddles and closeness. Her affection is soft and polite. She’s gentle with children, and though we recommend calm, respectful children aged 8+, she could be a truly special companion for a young person who understands the need for kindness and patience.

RUDY may have just one eye, but she manages perfectly well and doesn’t let it hold her back. She is playful but calm, affectionate without being demanding, and beautifully balanced in her temperament.

Rescue Story
RUDY’s story began with heartbreak. She was one of the two pups found beside their devoted mother RONA near an abandoned cottage. All three had been left behind when a troubled squatter vanished—likely the one responsible for their pain. Each of them bore signs of past cruelty, and RUDY, same as each from her family, lost one of her eyes.

But here’s what’s truly remarkable: she never lost her trust in people. Despite all she’s endured, RUDY remains loving, hopeful, and deeply affectionate. She has not let her past define her. She gently leans in for strokes, wags her tail when she sees you, and still believes in love.

Ideal Family
RUDY would be a beautiful fit for a kind, stable household – perhaps with another friendly dog to keep her company and show her the ropes. A calm environment with people who are home most of the day would suit her best.

She’s not demanding – just quietly grateful for affection, safety, and routine. Whether with a couple, a family with older children, or a single person ready to share their heart, RUDY will return love in full.

Health Information
RUDY is fully healthy (but missing one eye). Spayed. Has all core vaccines done, microchipped. All dogs are C.Brucella tested before the trip (owners will receive a licensed laboratory test certificate).

RBU, post-adoption support and 4 weeks free PetPlan insurance provided upon adoption.
