Rescue Story
Lenny was rescued at just three months old from a chaotic, neglectful environment where his owners struggled with alcohol addiction.
Despite a difficult beginning, his gentle, forgiving spirit shines through. Since arriving in care, he’s been patiently waiting for a family to offer him the home he truly deserves.
Personality & Behaviour
Lenny is full of heart. His current foster describes him as “an awesome little dog – smart, affectionate, playful, and always eager to please.”
He enjoys open spaces, tug-of-war, mental stimulation, and, above all, cuddles. Lenny is house-trained, sleeps through the night, and is a quick learner. He adores other dogs and is gentle with cats.
He thrives on companionship and structure but can be anxious when left alone. A home with someone present most of the time or ready to slowly build up his confidence would suit him best.
He’s not yet fully lead-trained, but his willingness to learn and love of treats make him a fantastic student.
Ideal Home
Lenny would suit a calm, loving household with a family ready to help him grow in confidence and continue his basic training. He’s a great fit for homes with dog-savvy children aged 7+, other friendly dogs, and even cats.
Most of all, he needs someone who can give him time, attention, and the chance to thrive.
