Diva – Little Miss Cuddle-Paws With a Heart Full of Joy. Diva is a Ukraine war dog in need of a safe haven. Available under a foster-to-adopt. Arriving mid-June
Diva is a 7-month-old girl with a soft heart and a sunny soul. She was born in the rubble of a war zone but has grown into a loving, playful pup who adores cuddles, people, and playtime.
She gives real doggy hugs—wrapping her paws around her human friends and holding on with affection. Her resilience and sweetness are remarkable, and she’s now hoping for a peaceful life in a safe, loving home.
Highlights:
SIZE: Lower-medium (approx. 45 cm shoulder height / 12 kg; may grow slightly more)
SPAYED: Yes
CHARACTER HIGHLIGHTS: Affectionate, playful, cuddly, human-focused
DOGS: Excellent with other dogs, needs another dog for a company
CATS: Not tested
CHILDREN: Friendly and gentle – best with calm dog-savvy children aged 8+
Rescue Story:
Diva was born in the ruins of a shelled home in eastern Ukraine. Her mother was killed by shrapnel, and she and her siblings were found by soldiers who sheltered them in the trenches.
Later, a British volunteer helped arrange for Diva to be rescued and moved to safety, where she could start her journey to a brighter future.
Foster Update:
Diva has shown herself to be a joyful, affectionate little soul. She adores human contact and thrives on cuddles and play. Her favourite trick is wrapping her front legs around people for a proper hug. She lights up around children and gets on wonderfully with other playful dogs.
She is almost fully housetrained, sleeping well at night with the occasional accident. She’s used to human touch, comfortable with toys, and full of puppy curiosity and love.
Ideal Family:
Diva needs a home where someone is around most of the day to give her the time, guidance, and love she needs. If adopted without her sibling, another friendly, playful resident dog is essential—she thrives in the company of other dogs.
A secure garden, soft beds, and lots of affection would make her happiest.
She is not suitable as a companion for a very elderly dog due to her youthful energy.
Note: Diva has a sibling—Brayan—who is also available for adoption. While they can be adopted separately, they’re a delightful duo for anyone open to welcoming two loving pups.
Health Information:
Diva is fully healthy. Spayed. Fully vaccinated and microchipped. All dogs are C.Brucella tested before the trip (owners will receive a licensed laboratory test certificate).
RBU, post-adoption support, and 4 weeks free PetPlan insurance provided upon adoption.
