Cats usually have healthy bonds with their caretakers. The caregivers make sure to cater to every need of the innocent creatures. While some felines can be easily handled, some tend to get difficult and mischievous. Additionally, things end up taking an awkward turn when they receive a new sitter. A recent video on social media captured a cat’s interesting reaction after meeting her new sitter.
Cat has ‘big thoughts’ after meeting cat sitter in viral video
A user named @southendpetsitting took to their Instagram to share a video of a cat’s interesting reaction to her new sitter. The page is run by Julie Nashawaty, who is a well-known professional dog and cat sitter in the South End of Boston. She shared numerous videos of her quality time with numerous pets, especially cat breeds. 
The above video captures the sitter’s exciting interaction with a cat named Nellie. It begins with Nashawaty entering the house, calling the feline a “baby girl” who curiously stares at her. Nellie stretches her body and comes close to her new sitter, who begins pampering her. The sitter assures the cat that she will be comfortable spending time with her. However, the kitty begins hissing at her while Nashawaty wonders if it’s due to her smell and apologizes to the pet.
She then tries her best to win over the feline, who continues hissing at her. Nashawaty puts down her bag to make the cat feel at ease and is determined to strengthen their bond. She narrates her story with Nellie in the caption and reveals how the latter had “BIG thoughts” about her, and she wanted to hear everything. Nashawaty stated that the duo had only one visit with the cat’s parents out of state, so they had to “wait a bit for our next visit.”
She further explained how the cat “definitely never hurt” her, but Nellie did “a whole lot of sassy hissing.” Nashawaty, who “can’t wait to see her again,” further recounted her time with Nellie, writing, “By the middle of the visit we were on the couch together without a care in the world.”
