As mama re-writes this, white smoke is issuing from the Sistine Chapel, as Pope Leone XIV has been chosen and bells are ringing all over Rome. Very exiting, mama says, and I took a little fly-over there to see the faces in the crowd light up as the smoke emerged. So many pilgrims waiting outside the Vatican. Thousands,
Let us hope he will do good deeds as did Francesco. He certainly looks kind and is known to have a very good heart and wants only peace for the world and wishes to work for that.
And, as always we are thankful for you, dear readers, who put up with mama’s gaffs: in today’s no-photo space, and in the walk around Rome photos, that was NOT the stock exchange but only another view of the Pantheon!
