Rescue Story:
Tiggy was the only survivor of her litter, born to an abandoned dog. Her mother fiercely protected her until they were both rescued. Tiggy grew up bright and cheerful in foster care.
She came to the UK full of promise and was adopted, but sadly, her behaviour toward the resident dog made it clear she needs a different kind of environment.
Detailed Information:
Tiggy is affectionate, clever, and full of energy. She loves cuddles and responds well to positive training. She knows basic commands such as sit, stay, and leave.
Her recall in the garden is improving, and she walks nicely on lead with treats and focus. She is well-behaved in public spaces like cafés and is calm overnight. Her foster says she “runs like a whippet” and is a “fun-loving power pack.”
She still needs support with managing excitement and settling. Left alone for too long, she may chew or bark. She is very food-driven and will counter-surf or scavenge snacks if given the chance.
Her biggest challenge has been her behaviour around the resident dog, whom she tries to dominate or chase.
Ideal Family:
Tiggy needs a dog-savvy, adult-only household with experience in clever, working-type breeds such as German Shepherds. Her family should continue her training and provide consistent structure.
A secure garden is essential. Tiggy would do best as the only pet in a calm, enriched environment where she can be loved and understood.
Tiggy has so much to give. With the right guidance, she will blossom into an affectionate, joyful, and loyal companion. She’s eager to learn, ready to bond, and waiting for her second chance.
Health Information:
Tiggy is healthy. Vaccinated, microchipped, and had her first season in April. Spaying is planned.
All dogs are C.Brucella tested before the trip (owners will receive a licensed laboratory test certificate).
RBU, post-adoption support, and 4 weeks free PetPlan insurance provided upon adoption.
