Gizmo is a 10 year old female Terrier Cross-Breed who came into our care after being abandoned, along with another dog. She’s an endearing little soul—sweet, a little shy at first, but a total lap gremlin once she’s comfy. Just don’t get clingy—girl likes her space sometimes.
She is a very sweet little dog; initially a little timid and shy, she is nonetheless a friendly companion. While she enjoys affection on her own terms, when she’s ready, she loves nothing more than curling up on your lap.
However, it’s important to be mindful that she also sometimes appreciates her own space and prefers not to be fussed over.
Gizmo is very good on the lead, though she can be reactive to other dogs on walks. She travels well in the car and enjoys quietly nibbling on soft toys. We believe Gizmo is best suited as an only dog in a quiet, adult-only home, where she can truly blossom with individual attention.
Gizmo does have immature cataracts in both eyes, but these don’t currently affect her vision or cause her any problems. She is a wonderful dog waiting for her forever home.
