Coco is a 7 year old female Terrier Cross-Breed who came into our care after being abandoned alongside another dog. Don’t let her age fool you—this girl is a firecracker of affection and confidence.
She adapted to kennel life like a pro and is basically a kiss-distributing machine on four legs.
Though she may be a slightly older dog, Coco still has plenty of energy and thoroughly enjoys her walks. While she absolutely loves her time outdoors, she can be reactive towards other dogs and will bark.
Her new family will need to be prepared to manage this with ongoing positive reinforcement and management techniques.
Good news for her potential new family – Coco travels well in the car and is very well-behaved at the vets. She is also very clean in her kennel, so housetraining should not be a problem in her new home.
While Coco is still learning some basic commands, her strong food motivation makes her an eager and promising student for continued training.
We are looking to rehome Coco as an only dog where she can be the sole focus of her family’s love and attention. She could possibly live with children aged 10 and over, who understand how to interact respectfully with dogs.
