Detailed Information
RAVI is currently in foster care with a large group of other dogs. She’s full of energy, loves to play, and is confident around other dogs—sometimes a bit too confident.
She isn’t afraid to set boundaries with her canine companions. She’d do best with a tolerant, calm resident dog, or as an only dog in a family that can give her structure, love, and outlets for her energy.
With people, RAVI is a total lovebug—she melts into strokes, seeks cuddles, and thrives on affection. She’s wonderful with children, though due to her confident nature and energy, we recommend homes with kids 10+ who understand respectful boundaries.
Rescue Story
RAVI’s life began in shadows—she was born at the edge of a forgotten world, near an abandoned summer cottage in rural Ukraine. Her mum, RONA, had been left behind by someone long gone, and soon after, little RAVI and her siblings came into this world. There had once been more puppies… but only two survived.
Their only shelter came from a wandering man, rumoured to have been living on the property, troubled and struggling with alcohol. He disappeared just as suddenly as he arrived, and the little family was left behind.
When volunteers found them, it was like something from a nightmare. All three—RONA, RUDI, and RAVI— each missing one eye—likely from cruelty, not accident. Yet somehow, through all the pain and abandonment, RAVI never lost her trust in people.
She didn’t run. She didn’t hide. She came forward with her tail gently wagging, asking for nothing more than a kind touch. She had every reason to give up on humans—but she didn’t. That alone says everything about her spirit.
Ideal Family
RAVI would thrive in an active home with structure and companionship—either with a confident, easy-going male dog or as a single princess soaking up all the attention. She’d suit a family who values both play and calm connection, and who can give her the walks, cuddles, and reassurance she craves.
She’s ideal for someone looking for a strong-hearted, loving girl who’s overcome hardship and still shines with joy. A secure garden would be wonderful, and an owner ready to enjoy her playfulness, affection, and charm.

RAVI is fully healthy. Spayed. Has all core vaccines done, microchipped. All dogs are C.Brucella tested before the trip (owners will receive a licensed laboratory test certificate).
