The internet is chuckling over a video of a cat not being too happy about his own birthday party, and it is as hilarious as it sounds. Diesel, the grumpy feline who boasts over 26.3K followers on Instagram, is known for making his thoughts clear and not dealing with the stuff he doesn’t like. The furbaby hilariously proved the same when he was surprised with a birthday party he seemingly did not want.
Cat is a spicy orange in hilarious birthday party video
Diesel, the “wisest orange cat,” was not a huge fan of his birthday party and expressed the same in a hilarious video. The grumpy feline could not have been more unimpressed when he was surprised with a “meow-meow” birthday song. The video showed Diesel sitting still while his owners tried to put a sparkly golden birthday party hat on him.
The kitten’s expressions clearly proved he was not enjoying it. Meanwhile, before the hat could touch Diesel’s head, he looked up and seemingly watched it with disapproval. The text over the clip read, “Diesel’s 8th birthday is going exactly how you would expect.” It also teased, “The ending to this video is perfect.”
The following clip showed the cat’s owners again attempting to put the party piece on his head, but he quickly ran away. Nonetheless, they did manage to make Diesel wear the hat at one point, but he didn’t look too happy with it. The feline wore it but continued angrily looking away from the camera. The video continued to show Diesel sitting in a box with his party hat on.
The owner then tried to give gentle rubs to the birthday boy. The text noted, “happy birthday you angry orange triangle.” This was the time for the “perfect” ending when Diesel did not hold back from letting his feisty personality shine. While the owner was rubbing the feline’s chin, he sat still for a few seconds before striking the hand off. The caption also joked, “it’s his party and he’ll bite if he wants to.”
Diesel may have been unimpressed with his little birthday, but he still got the loving surprise he deserved.
