Our extra special boy Dobbie most certainly is extra special! He is approximately two years old and a Greek Shepherd cross. Dobbie weighs a mere thirty-five kilos and is magnificent.
He was surrendered to our Corfu shelter a year ago with his sister as their owner was unable to keep them any longer.
Dobbie is striking and a real showstopper. His black coat with his white chest, tummy and tips are just glorious. The breed is known for its gentility and kindness and Greek Shepherds make wonderful family pets.
Experienced adopters will recognise however that there can be a tendency to be a little overprotective with their loved ones.
Dobbie loves water and thoroughly enjoys his walks and recreational pursuits. Sadly, Dobbie walks with a slight limp having had surgery for hip dysplasia. A veterinary report is available.
Dobbie walks nicely on his lead. He seems to mix well with other dogs, cats and children.
