Rudi is a 3 year old female Patterdale x Lakeland Terrier in need of a new home due to her owner’s ill health. This little girl was an absolute sweetheart at her assessment and will clearly make a wonderful companion.

Rudi walks like a dream, and is so busy sniffing it’s definitely more of a steady stroll than anything else but she does love to go exploring and keep her nose busy so she wants a home where she’ll get plenty of outdoor time.

Rudi’s owners were told she’s very dog reactive so they’ve not had her around other dogs but at today’s meet she was introduced to another dog and she was a very good girl.

She did show signs of wanting to play, but Rudi was kept on a lead at all times to monitor her behaviour so pending a successful introduction and a few meets with another dog she may be able to live with another dog.

She’s definitely a no to cats and small furries! She has been around children 10+ so we would happily rehome her with children.

Rudi absolutely adores her toys, she will completely destroy soft toys, and she also will destroy cardboard boxes if they’re left lying around.

She is fully housetrained and can be left alone for a few hours with no issues, but she adores human company so would like a home where she gets lots of attention and love.

Travelling in the car isn’t Rudi’s favourite thing but she will eventually settle, she has been known to be travel sick on journeys where the roads are windy but is fine on motorway journeys.

Rudi is chipped, vaccinated and speyed.

Forever homes can be anywhere within the UK but you will need to travel to meet her in South Yorkshire.

As always we require everyone in the family and any children who are regularly going to be in contact with the dog to attend the meet. Our usual process is that you will need to come and meet the dog and that adoption is then done on a second meet.

For some dogs additional meets may be required and potential adopters will be required to travel to the dogs location for all meets.

If you are suited we will then arrange a homecheck, vet reference and meet with the dog.

We only rehome where all resident and previous animals are/were regularly vaccinated and neutered/speyed unless on veterinary advice. All of our dogs have rescue back up.
