Curro is a 8-year-old male English Setter. He is currently in Spain but can be transported to the UK, where he’s looking for his forever home with a family who can give him the love he clearly deserves.
Curro is a beautiful, medium-sized English Setter with a calm and affectionate temperament. He was sadly abandoned by his hunter simply because he wasn’t considered good enough for hunting.
To make matters worse, he had a limp in one leg and, in true cheapskate fashion, the hunter didn’t even bother getting it checked before dumping him. Thankfully, once Curro made it to the shelter, he was operated on and is now healing like a champ.
He’s not just a survivor—he’s a social butterfly too. Curro adores playing with the other dogs at the shelter and is friendly with both males and females. His easygoing nature also extends to humans; he’s fantastic with people and especially sweet with children.
He’d fit right into a family environment, where cuddles and playtime are part of the daily routine.
His story is heartbreaking, but Curro doesn’t let it hold him back. He’s ready to start a new chapter full of kindness, snuggles, and belly rubs. This boy has so much love to give and deserves to be part of a home where he’s treated like family—not like a tool for hunting.
