8 year old male Cross-Breed available for adoption

Grizz is an 8-year-old male Cross-Breed. He is medium-sized and has already been neutered. Grizz has had a difficult past and was rescued into foster care three years ago.

Since then, he has been patiently waiting for someone to offer him a forever home. Sadly, black dogs are often overlooked, and being a mature dog hasn’t helped his chances.

When Grizz first arrived, he was extremely frightened and very timid around people. Over time, with care and patience from his foster carers, he has started to come out of his shell and now shows his gentle and sweet nature.

He still needs a quiet home where he can continue to feel safe and supported.

Grizz is not suited to a home with small children, as he requires a calm environment. He does get along well with other dogs and could happily live with another dog. However, he has not been tested with cats, so it’s unclear how he would react to them.

Adopting an older dog like Grizz is deeply rewarding, especially since many of the challenges that come with younger dogs are no longer an issue.

All he really needs now is a place to call his own and a warm, cosy bed to rest on. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and comes with a pet passport. His adoption includes delivery directly to your home via a regulated transport company and full rescue backup support.

For further details about adopting a dog from Helping Dogs in Romania, please contact janinewilbraham@googlemail.com or telephone 07739842517.

Helping Dogs in Romania is a UK organisation working to save desperate dogs. We work with a network of rescuers across Romania who save innocent dogs from traumatic situations, torture and painful euthanasia.

We then arrange for safe shelter, veterinary treatment, spaying, neutering and adoption to the UK. By taking dogs out of Romania, we create more shelter space for the dogs in need there.
