Basil is a 3½-month-old male Cross-Breed. Currently living in a private shelter in Romania, this little guy was rescued after being found at the side of the road with his siblings—no mum in sight.
Despite his rough start, Basil is full of potential and is looking for a forever home through Meadow of Hope Dog Rescue.
He’s a sweet and social puppy who hasn’t shown any fear around people. Though he hasn’t experienced life inside a home yet, he’s already used to wearing a lead, and with the right support and continued training, he’ll adjust beautifully.
Like any young pup, he’ll need help with house training, socialisation, and settling into a daily routine.
Basil gets along well with other dogs in the shelter and could be cat-tested upon request. He’s been vaccinated, microchipped, blood tested, and treated for fleas and worms. He’ll also be rehomed under a neutering contract when he’s old enough.
He can live with respectful, sensible children who understand the importance of giving him space while he adjusts.
Basil will travel to his new UK home with all necessary paperwork, including a passport and health records, and will be backed with rescue support to help ensure a smooth transition.
