Hey there, I’m Joshua! I’m a 2-year-old pocket pointer boy with a story that might have started rough, but thanks to some amazing people, I’ve been given a second chance at life – and I’m ready to make the most of it!
Not long ago, I was scavenging for food on the streets, barely getting by. The municipality picked me up, and things weren’t looking good for me. I was in really bad shape, and it didn’t seem like anyone was looking for me, so I was facing euthanasia. 
But just when I was about to lose hope, some kind souls stepped in and saved me in the nick of time.
When they first saw me, it was clear I had leishmania – my fur was patchy, and I looked pretty rough. But even in that sorry state, I knew I was safe, and I showed everyone just how sweet and loving I am.
Fast forward a bit, and now I’ve transformed into a happy, bouncy boy! My fur has now fully grown and is very shiny. I’m a pup full of energy, cuddles, and love.
I’m looking for an active home where I can join in on all the fun – whether that’s going for walks, playing in the yard, or just hanging out with my people.
I’m a fun energy ball and I get along great with other dogs, so I’m happy to share my space with a furry friend that can cope with a bouncy energetic play pal. I haven’t met any cats yet, but if you’ve got one, I’m sure the rescue can cat test me!
