Harry is a 2-year-old male Mioritic Shepherd Cross Collie. He’s a big-hearted boy who’s been through absolute hell and back, rescued from a situation where he was practically starved.
Despite the trauma he’s faced, Harry’s resilience shines through—he’s made an incredible recovery and is now full of love for people, craving affection and stability.
He’s a large lad, weighing around 27kg, and while he’s gentle at heart, he’s still working on building his confidence—especially on walks.
Because of this, he’d do best in a quiet, calm setting away from the noise and chaos of busy streets. Harry would thrive with a calm and friendly female dog in the home to help ease his nerves and keep him company.
When it comes to other male dogs in the home, Harry can be reactive, so it’s best he’s the only male dog in the household. He hasn’t been tested with cats or children, so he won’t be rehomed where either are present.
What he really needs is an experienced owner who understands his breed mix and is willing to offer him the support and love he deserves.
Harry is currently in foster care in Leicester, but his foster mum is facing serious health issues, so time is of the essence. He’s a loyal, loving dog who just wants a home to call his own—a place to settle, feel safe, and be someone’s devoted companion.
