Sweet Blake spent years in a shelter before we were able to offer him the chance of a better life. Despite his tough past, he’s incredibly loving and adores fuss and belly rubs — rolling over with a smile just to soak it all in.
Blake has arthritis in his spine, so while he walks nicely on a lead, he’d much rather potter around the garden and then relax in the sunshine. He’s on pain relief to keep him comfortable and is doing well.
Blake is also slightly incontinent, so he wears a belly band in the home — which doesn’t stop him from enjoying life one bit. He’s happy, calm, and affectionate, and would thrive in a quiet home, ideally with no other dogs or young children.
He’s truly a gentle, lovable boy who just wants a soft place to land and someone to love him through his golden years.
