Zelda is a 12 week old Akita cross puppy (we think possibly cross Labrador but can’t be sure) who came to us as a stray.
Please read her write up before contacting us- We are not debating about what type of home she needs thanks. 
She’s an Akita cross so will be a large and wilful girl. We need someone at home most of the time, with large breed experience and with the time to commit to a puppy with all her training and socialisation needs.
She’s doing great in her foster home and will thrive in her forever home. She’s a feisty little madam and loving life.
She can possibly live with friendly neutered male dogs, with dog savvy cats and with children 8+ given her age. She will not be adopted into a forever home with resident female dogs as many Akitas display same sex aggression when they mature and this is not something we are willing to risk.
Forever homes can be anywhere within the UK but you will need to travel to meet her in South Yorkshire.
As always we require everyone in the family and any children who are regularly going to be in contact with the dog to attend the meet.
Our usual process is that you will need to come and meet the dog and that adoption is then done on a second meet. For some dogs additional meets may be required and potential adopters will be required to travel to the dogs location for all meets.
If you are suited we will then arrange a homecheck, vet reference and meet with the dog.
We only rehome where all resident and previous animals are/were regularly vaccinated and neutered/speyed unless on veterinary advice. All of our dogs have rescue back up.
