Arzu is a 1 year old female Kai Ken Cross — a striking, rare mix with a uniquely beautiful brindle coat and a wild, elegant charm. She weighs around 26kg and has the kind of presence that captures attention instantly — dignified, graceful, and absolutely unforgettable.

Arzu is believed to be a Kai Ken cross, a rare and ancient Japanese breed known for their intelligence, agility, and loyalty. Sometimes called the “Tiger Dog” due to their stunning brindle coats, Kai Kens were originally bred for hunting in the mountains of Japan.

While independent and alert, they are also extremely loyal to their family and eager to please — and Arzu reflects all of that in her temperament.

But Arzu is not just a pretty face. She’s full of life, playful, intelligent, and deeply affectionate with the people she trusts. She was born on 18th April 2024 and has been thriving in foster care, where she lives with two other dogs and enjoys an active lifestyle.

Arzu is incredibly social and curious. She’s a fast learner who loves mental stimulation just as much as physical activity. She’s fantastic on the lead, well-behaved in the car, and responds beautifully to positive guidance. This is a dog with enormous potential — she’s clever, eager to engage, and very loyal.

She forms strong bonds with her humans and thrives when included in daily activities. Arzu would be best suited to a home where she receives plenty of exercise and structure, and where her active mind and body are kept busy.

She is not suited to homes with cats or small animals, as her prey drive is strong.

She is, however, dog-friendly and enjoys the company of canine companions. She could live with another friendly, balanced dog or be the center of attention as the only pet in the home. She’s also great with children, as long as they are respectful of her space.
